Put your best self forward with a personal makeup and hairstyling lesson at our studio. Lessons are designed to be lots of fun, completely interactive, and a one-on-one experience. You will learn the products and techniques to create the perfect look to enhance your confidence.
ABOUT THE MAKE-UP PART OF YOUR LESSON
You will leave with a face chart listing out your colors, products, and steps after experiencing your hands-on 1-on-1 lesson. This is designed to find the right products and to show you the application techniques that are right for you for the look you are trying to achieve. Lessons are based on the “half face” technique, where DeeDee will demonstrate each stage step by step on one half of your face, and then guide you to apply the make-up to the other half of your face using the techniques that you have just learned. This “learning through experience” approach will give you the confidence that you will be able to repeat what you have learned once you’re home.
ABOUT THE HAIR PART OF YOUR LESSON
You will learn the hair products, tools, and techniques to create the perfect look you desire. DeeDee will demonstrate each stage of hair styling step by step on half of your hair and guide you to style the remaining hair using the techniques that you have just learned. This “learning through experience” approach will give you the confidence that you will be able to repeat what you have learned once you’re home.
HOW MUCH IS A HAIR AND MAKEUP LESSON?
An introductory lesson is $250. Follow-up lessons are $150 each.
HOW LONG IS A LESSON?
For your introductory lesson, a minimum of 2 hours is required. Follow-up lessons are generally 1.5-2 hours.

At DeeDee’s Studio
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Bring your makeup bag, hot rollers, and curling irons along with you. We want you to be able to recreate these looks at home with what you have.
ARE HAIR AND MAKEUP PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN THE PRICING?
We will have makeup and hair products for you to use during your lesson but to recreate your look at home, you will need to have your own set of products. We do sell makeup and can help you locate any additional hair tools or products you may need.
SHOULD I WEAR MAKEUP/PREP MY HAIR?
Come with a clean face and have all eye makeup removed. DO NOT come in with wet hair. DO NOT straighten your hair before you come because it will not curl. If you have African American/Bi-Racial hair, please WASH, DRY, & STRAIGHTEN your hair before coming.
DO YOU HAVE FOLLOW UP LESSONS?
Yes. They are $100 each. At follow up lessons, you will be doing most of the work while DeeDee helps guide you and remind you of the techniques you learned in the first lesson.
SHOULD I PRACTICE BEFORE MY SECOND LESSON?
Yes. Yes. Yes. We cannot stress this enough. The more you practice, the better you will do with styling. Please practice between each follow-up lesson.
HOW MANY LESSONS DO YOU SUGGEST?
There is no magic number. Each person’s skill level grows at varying rates. We want you to be as confident as possible, so book them one-by-one until you feel you are comfortable.
HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING AND HOW DO I PAY?
We take cash or check at the time of your lesson. Appointments are generally Tuesday – Friday between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. (Note: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday lessons are not available due to scheduling conflicts.)
